BfinaliconiCONECT Basic User Track Modules

  • Module 1: Getting Started and the Dashboard – This module introduces participants to the iCONECT interface, walking you through the 3 screens used during a review, and takes a deeper dive into the tiles on the Dashboard.
  • Module 2: Searching – This module covers the key searches needed in any review, concentrating on Facets and Filtering, and explains how to save and reuse searches for later use.
  • Module 3: Customizing Your View – This module explains how to change the field layout for Table View, Document View and the documents list, allowing users to see the key fields and versions of the document that are important to their review.
  • Module 4: Foldering – This module dives into the Folders tab, explaining how to create, edit and delete folders, add and remove documents to a folder, and how to quickly and easily search multiple folders.
  • Module 5: Document View – This module reviews the Coding and Comments tab, explaining the different types of coding entries, and how to use comments in clever ways to collaborate efficiently. In this session, we also focus on ways to work with image and native files attached to documents, including creating and modifying annotations and redactions.

 


PfinaliconiCONECT Power Reviewer Certification Modules

To receive your iCONECT Power Reviewer Certificate you must complete 10 exercises on an iCONECT server. There is no cost for this exam. Please email training@iconect.com when you are prepared to take the exam and more information will be provided. Note: This course is a prerequisite for Web Administration or System Administration training.

  • Module 1: Getting Started and the Dashboard – This module introduces participants to the iCONECT interface, walking you through the 3 screens used during a review, and takes a deeper dive into the tiles on the Dashboard.
  • Module 2: Searching – This module covers the key searches needed in any review, concentrating on Facets and Filtering, and explains how to save and reuse searches for later use. This module also dives into iCONECT’s custom searching area and Word Lists. It reviews all custom search options including proximity, similar word and comment searching, and teaches users how to make their own Word List.
  • Module 3: Customizing Your View – This module explains how to change the field layouts for Table View, Document View and the documents list, allowing users to see the key fields and versions of the document that are important to their review.
  • Module 4: Foldering – This module dives into the Folders tab, explaining how to create, edit and delete folders, add and remove documents to a folder, and how to quickly and easily search multiple folders.
  • Module 5: Document View – This module reviews the Coding and Comments tab, and the main area of Document View.   • Module 8: Reviewing Related Documents – This module covers the Related tab in Document View and explains how it can be used with iCONECT’s Document Compare to quickly identify differences in related documents.

AfinaliconiCONECT Analytics Track

  • Module 1: Analytics Overview – This module introduces participants to iCONECT’s easy to use Analytic tools.
  • Module 2: iVIEW – This module covers iVIEW and how it can be used to visually display and then drill into data in any field or folder, as well as display a timeline of data with a couple of clicks. In this session, we also focus on adding iVIEW tiles to the Dashboard for easy access, plus much more.
  • Module 3: Clustering – This module covers how clusters are created and used together with iVIEW, and how clustering groups of documents with similar ideas together gives you a clear picture of the data’s content so that you can determine where to start the review.
  • Module 4: Email Threads and Near Duplicates – This module covers the Related tab’s Email Threads and Near Duplicates panels. Learn how to quickly code Near Duplicate documents after reviewing the differences in XERA’s Document Compare. In this session, we also cover how to use Email Threading to determine which emails contain all content, so that you can avoid reviewing document content more than once.
  • Module 5: Similar Concepts and Xmplar – This module discusses how to use the Similar Concepts panel to find documents with the same ideas as the document you are viewing. You will also learn how to use XERA’s powerful Xmplar to create a synthetic Hot Document and retrieve similar relevant documents.
  • Module 6: Predictive Review – This module describes typical Predictive Review setup in XERA, and includes tips and tricks for users on how to code documents in a Predictive Review workflow.

  • Session 1 – Introduces participants to logging in, opening their specific project and database, opening a batch if required, viewing the documents, basic searching and a quick annotation. We also discuss security in this and every session.
  • Session 2 – Delves into customizing the interface and examining all search options.
  • Session 3 – Focuses on images and editing. We discuss multiple ways to view a document, each of the annotation tools and how to make any edits as required.
  • Session 4 – Discusses how to develop reports, productions and exports.
