iCONECT President and CEO Ian Campbell to Present at University of Florida Law Electronic Discovery Conference

Las Vegas, NV and Gainesville, FL (February 24, 2015)

iCONECT Development, LLC, a technology leader that develops intuitive, web-based e-discovery software, such as its flagship review platform, iCONECT-XERA®, today announced that Ian Campbell, its President and CEO, will present at The Third Annual University of Florida/EDRM E-Discovery Conference in Gainesville, Florida.

Campbell will join an expert panel to discuss Getting Cloud Data from the New Big Three: Google, iCloud & MS Office 365. “The trend towards cloud-based services, such as Google Docs and Apple’s iCloud, creates difficulty for legal and discovery professionals. Collecting information stored in the cloud can be complicated and at some point it must be analyzed and produced,” says Campbell. “I look forward to exploring ways that legal teams and their technology providers can solve these problems.” The panel will take place on March 27, 2015 at 9am ET and will be available to attend in-person or online.

One of the true pioneers in e-discovery and document review technology, Ian Campbell has spent the past two decades developing litigation support tools and consulting on major legal and discovery projects worldwide. He is a frequent writer and speaker and has shared his experiences and expertise at dozens of events, including Legaltech, the ILTA Annual Meeting, The AIIM Conference and the 2014 University of Florida E-Discovery Conference. “We’re thrilled Ian will again bring his 20-plus years experience to the conference to address the electronic discovery challenges of social media, mobile devices, and the Cloud,” says William Hamilton, Executive Director of the UF E-Discovery Project and Conference. “Ian and iCONECT make important electronic discovery technologies readily and seamlessly accessible to empower attorneys to let their case data tell the winning story. Having Ian with us to freely share his wisdom is a giant plus for our attendees and faculty.”

Attorney Craig Ball, who will also be presenting the keynote address, Dera Nevin of Proskauer Rose LLP and Martin Audet of Nuix, will join Campbell on the panel. “I am looking forward to collaborating with all my co-panelists, and especially look forward to working with Martin, who represents one of our key technology partners,” added Campbell. iCONECT recently announced Direct to Database (D2D) integration with Nuix, which allows automatic creation of an iCONECT-XERA® database and transfer of extracted document data from within Nuix eDiscovery Workbench.

Produced by the University of Florida – Levin College of Law and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), the Third Annual University of Florida/EDRM E-Discovery Conferencewill be held March 27, 2015, at the UF Law Martin H. Levin Advocacy Center in Gainesville, Florida. This year’s conference theme is “Electronic Discovery in Social Media, Mobile Devices and the Cloud” and will focus on litigation involving data “from Facebook to Fitbits, from cell phones to the cloud.”

The conference is offered free of charge to all employees of federal and state governmental agencies, judges and judicial staff, students and academics. For all others, the daylong conference, which has been approved for 6.5 CLE credits, is available online for $99 or in person for $199.
