Realizing that no two projects are alike, the iCONECT platform has been built to allow for a variety of intake workflows. iCONECT specializes in creating seamless intake of various file types, formats, media and data streams. For files that require conversion or OCR, iCONECT’s experienced support team can assist with the implementation of technologies to normalize data for intake and ultimate export. This includes conversion of file formats, repagination, document parsing or OCR of printed or handwritten, formatted (forms) or unstructured data or documents.
CUSTOM API
The iCONECT API allows developers to work with objects in iCONECT to create a seamless streaming workflow from existing digital data sources, including advanced functionality like managing clients, projects, records and files.
PAPER
Working with iCONECT partners, paper documents can be received, opened, prepped (staples, binding removed), scanned and archived, all while retaining the meta-data at the various object levels (box, folder, sub-folder, etc.). iCONECT can separate documents into pages that link together with the master document. iCONECT will work closely with your team to identify an appropriate digitization transformation workflow. By digitizing historical paper or data archives, clients can establish a document retention policy, analyze content and eliminate ROT (Redundant, Obsolete, Trivial) data and documents.
iCONECT will work with your team to identify an intake workflow to scan paper received via mail. Working with iCONECT partners, mail can be received, opened, scanned and archived. iCONECT can separate documents into pages that link together with the master document. Each mailed document can then be processed to extract body text for full-text searching across all documents or as part of a seamless workflow. Identification of blank pages, double-sided documents, missing pages, or shipping slips can be implemented to identify anomalies in mailed documents and can be re-routed for human-in-the-loop review. By working with this import format, the intake is seamless and minimizes disruption of existing mail-based workflows.
iCONECT will work with your team to identify an intake workflow that includes metadata from emails, and separation of attachments with a link back to the corresponding email. Each attachment can then be processed to extract email text, allowing for full-text searching across all emails and attachments. Intake is seamless and minimizes disruption of existing email-based workflows.
HISTORICAL ARCHIVES
iCONECT will work with your team to identify an electronic workflow that works with your existing apps. By digitizing historical paper or data archives, clients can establish a document retention policy, analyze content and eliminate ROT (Redundant, Obsolete, Trivial) data and documents.
Using iCONECT’s proprietary mobile application (available in iOS and Android formats for download from the app store or Google Play) supervisors, in-field personnel and end-users can easily capture relevant photos or documents, add meta-data and upload directly into the iCONECT platform. The mobile application stores data in an encrypted format away from ‘gallery’ for increased security. For every photo or document captured, an MD5-hash is established. On upload, a second MD-5 hash is created on the uploaded file. By matching the before/after transfer MD5-hashes data integrity is assured and, optionally, the original photo or document can be cleared from the phone. Each upload contains geo-location, shell meta-data, time-data stamping, and user metadata.
FAX
iCONECT will work with your team to identify a digital strategy that meets your needs including the ability to identify blank pages and cover sheets. By working with this legacy import format, the intake is seamless and minimizes disruption of existing fax-based workflows.
iCONECT will work with your team to target the best workflow for data streams from 3rd party systems. By using the highly customizable API a workflow can be established to replicate data structure, split/combine field content and optimize speed, security and performance. By digitizing historical paper or data archives, clients can set a document retention policy, analyze content and eliminate ROT (Redundant, Obsolete, Trivial) data and documents.
