DevOps

iCONECT is a world-leading eDiscovery platform that allows corporations, government entities, and legal firms to host data for the purpose of document review. As eDiscovery technology continues to grow and changes, so do we! This is a newly created position for our growing company.

DevOps supports the development of software products, processes, and supporting systems. In this role, the DevOps person will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to accomplish development objectives and oversee software releases.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and improves existing build and deployment processes across all products
  • Collaborates with Application Developers, QA personal, Product Owners, and others to create deployment best practices, documenting and packaging releases.
  • Supports and troubleshoots product and infrastructure issues in production environments
  • Writes configuration scripts for automation tools and automates recurring tasks
  • Defines and documents continuous integration / continuous deployment best practices
  • Maintains a Jenkins pipeline for java, C++ and C# based products.
  • Maintains on premise docker deployments

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 3+ years experience in DevOps, Networking or System Administration role.
  • Experience scripting and automating deployments and management of IT solutions.
  • Experience with build and deployment solutions with Jenkins, Git.
  • Experience with Apache Groovy
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with Web Applications deployment from a security perspective
  • Broad understanding of tools and technologies with a preference for Docker, Jenkins, and Git.

Sr QA Specialist / QA Project Lead

We are looking for a Sr Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist & QA Project lead to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.  Lead a team of QA specialists in planning and executing on a project’s testing strategy.

Sr QA Specialist responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (for example defect densities and open defect counts.)

The Sr QA Specialist role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we would like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will be involved in many of the stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Liaise with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • Risk Assessment – Apply appropriate testing approach and test design techniques to design the test cases in a way that the highest risks items are tested first. Able to identify the risks and communicate before sign off.
  • Automation – Ability to Evaluate and implement different QA automation tools
  • Improve QA processes and systems to streamline these processes
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in software development
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

Skills and Requirements:

  • Develop an understanding of the architecture of the platform
  • Design, implement and document classes and functions to meet requirements

  • Work within the Backend team and ensure various standards for code quality and security are followed
  • Work with the UI team to ensure the API designs are flexible, performant, secure and allow for great UI/UX to be built

The Senior Java Developer position offers the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle. Responsibilities:

  • Transform business requirements and research into winning delivery solutions that meet performance goals.
  • Rigorously build and test applications
  • Perform systems administration: monitor, configure, back-up, authenticate, tune.
